WOW! I got contacted by Keatney Executive Search - Mr. Sam Baldwin - Recruitung Manager. First I get an email saying he was busy with the overwhelming response for the Staff Accountant position and that he would be in touch in 3-5 days. Then I get an email saying that he would like me to go on in their process and I had to fill out an employment questionnaire which I didn't do but instead chose to send an email saying I had questions & then I decided to call but there was no number in either email. I google them and I get this # (888) 509-1450 which has no one available to answer the phone. Nice message though but no reply to my vm message. Now I say wouldnt a recruiting agency definitely have a way for people to reach them, they make their living by telephone referrals, prospective cpamies that want to use them to place their people in ther positions.. Etc now I know it's a scam so I dig deeper and find out that the company Kearney Executive Search aka A.T. Kearney Executive Search sold their Executive Search Divison long ago and I spoke to their receptionist who has received numerous phone calls from people like me & she said that Kearney Executive Search does not exist and Keatney is the last name for A.T. She had me speak to their HR person Stephanie because I think they are trying to find out who is using their name illegally. Here is the number1 (212) 705-1353. Also just for your information in the earlier post where someone was kind enough to give the domain and website information for Keatney Executive Search the number listed +1 (800) 563-1125 is to a trucking company. Totally ILLEGAL.. I am making a complaint to the BBB and letting people know that this is a SCAM!

Same thing here! I got an email about the Staff Accountant position. I emailed the person back with a few questions and I never heard a response. The next day I received an email from the same person telling me I haven't filled out the application form yet.
I only just completed this application and decided to do some rsearch online as I could not get hold of recruiter for Talent Co-ordinator role. I only hope that their will be no repurcussions of me filling out job application as I firmly believe it is a scam I am so annoyed but now I know what to expect as I am new to the US.
I have been getting the emails from Greg Harrison also! I initially ignored, thinking it wasn't legit. Then as time has gone by, and my search for a job becoming more and more desperate, I decided to read the "talent coordinator" job description. I was an HR Generalist in my previous position, and responded with my concern that the job may be a step down from where I was, and wanted to know the salary. I then read at the end of the description the salary was 47,000-59,000. I thought, that wasn't awful so I started filing out the questionnaire section. For some reason, I just decided to google this company and I'm so glad I did.
After reading some of your posts, I decided to try the number back that had JUST called me as I was completing the forms. BTW- I've had a number from NYC calling me non stop and do not leave a message. It's been rather annoying and I had a feeling it was this company. So, I called the number back and a man with a strong accent said, "is this Laura". So, they have caller ID obviously and I called from my cell... He said he had no idea who a Ben Harrison was. I responded GREG, but he said this company was findajob.com. I just ended the conversation by asking him to remove my number from the list.
What a way to scam... People spend so much time and money trying to scam other folks, they might as well just work and be a legit company for gods sake!
Thanks so much for your info and letting me share my recent experience with MR. Greg Harrison from Kearney Exec Search. It's definitely a FRAUD! STAY AWAY.
I too have been contacted by 'Rick Taylor'. Unfortunately I was an idiot and spent $17 on an SAS study guide (which actually is a legit study guide, good info in it). I hope law enforcement will eventually shut these guys down, absolutely despicable trying to exploit unemployed people like this.
Count me amongst those of you who are currently being scammed by this company. I was contacted by Lawrence Wilson for the Communications Specialist position, salary: $43,250 - $56,980/annually. I couldn't remember applying specifically for this position as I was putting in quite a few applications at the time, but I said, what the heck, I may as well follow up and see what happens. Early into my recruitment from Kearney, I started getting the feeling that they were not legit, so I did an internet/scam search for them and came by this site a while ago. After reading some posts here, I said ok, so they ARE a scam. But Lawrence Wilson continued to contact me and I decided to see how far this would go.
I too received emails at odd times, anywhere from 4:00am - 6:00am, and I also received the latest one earlier today, Sunday. The one I received today was the one that asks me to take the assessment test and a link in the email brings me to a site where they want me to pay for a study guide for $18.50.
By the way, I did an internet search for the study guide, and found the exact guide that they're selling, online for free. Here's the link if you want to see the actual guide they want you to pay for:
So my next step, after studying this guide and taking their assessment test will be to see if I actually get a phone call from Mr. Wilson. I'll keep you all informed.
SCAM!!!!!! It is very disrespectful to make someone think they are getting a job when they have no chance. Picking on a person who is out of work is so mean and downright cruel. They should be so ashamed of themselves. I am contacting the Better Business Bureau and posting this on Facebook.
