CEO to Workers: I May Fire You if Obama Wins - Yahoo! Finance

Email sent out from CEO David Siegel to all employees of Westgate Resorts. I don't agree with every point that is made here, but a lot of this email makes sense. We can't continue to take from the producers and give to the non producers, folks!

I think it's wrong to imply that if you vote for Obama, you could lose your job.

It's just plain wrong to black mail a person's inalienable right, regardless of the candidates or issues in question.

I would say bordering on illegal. I get his point, while I don't necessarily agree with all of it, but this smacks off Jimmy Hoffa telling his union buddies to vote a certain way or else.

Exactly. Nice set up for some lawsuits if he follows through.

I don't see a set up for a law suit. He has no way of knowing who his employees vote for or if they even vote at all. "Politics" is not a protected class.

Unless his employees have a bumper sticker. Or mention it at work. I know who all my neighbors and coworkers are voting for--and I never even asked them.
