Because most of the time when the company is calling after a interview it is to offer the job.

Well, that may be true, but that is because most companies now follow the practice of never contacting anyone after an interview. That is more than rude, and may tend to insinuate that "the call" means you got the job. But just because you may be used to a certain behavior doesn't mean that hearing different news means the caller is doing anything but being professional and polite.

I had a interview on 11/27 and never heard back from them by phone or email or a mailed letter LOL

I actually prefer it be that way because I like to use my common sense and know that since it's 1/10 and the interview was on 11/27 I know for a fact I'm not still in the running

I didn't hear a word from them via email or mail for almost a month to tell me I didn't get the job. I checked my voice mail recently and low and behold they said they offered the job to someone else! Why reject someone via PHONE? What if I had of answered the phone???
I"m surprised you got any response. Sometimes I'd get a letter.

At least you heard something....most of the time you send in a resume, maybe get an interview and then nothing.

Ive also been called almost 6 months later asking if I was still interested in the job, only to be left hanging again.

Just curious. When you say, "coming from a mature and a professional person" are you referring to yourself?
