ok, that's fine. And I understand how people may not prefer the phone call; but to react to a phone call like someone just shot their dog is actually immature.
Because most of the time when the company is calling after a interview it is to offer the job.

Well, that may be true, but that is because most companies now follow the practice of never contacting anyone after an interview. That is more than rude, and may tend to insinuate that "the call" means you got the job. But just because you may be used to a certain behavior doesn't mean that hearing different news means the caller is doing anything but being professional and polite.

I had a interview on 11/27 and never heard back from them by phone or email or a mailed letter LOL
I actually prefer it be that way because I like to use my common sense and know that since it's 1/10 and the interview was on 11/27 I know for a fact I'm not still in the running
I applied for a job and got a call back for an interview. I went in for the interview and I left with a bad vibe. I just didn't think I would get the job. So, I didn't send a thank-you note. I didn't hear a word from them via email or mail for almost a month to tell me I didn't get the job. I checked my voice mail recently and low and behold they said they offered the job to someone else! Why reject someone via PHONE? What if I had of answered the phone???
I"m surprised you got any response. Sometimes I'd get a letter.
