The higher it is raised, the more attractive Mr. Robot is, and the less likely Suzie the 16 year old is to get her first job.
But the problem is "fair market value" on a large scale is unsustainable in the long term. The issue is too many people are on these fair market value wages or below.
Even though Mr. Robot is attractive to stockholders now, the problem is in the future it is detrimental when more companies do that to cut costs. The issue is this can easily turn into a perceived win on a game theory decision board that turns into a total loss when the full effects happen.

And how do we when they get underpaid so they cannot pay out of pocket for the training and the companies wont pay for training? There isn't much out of the necessities for Americans to improve (if she wanted to.)

Student loans, work 2 jobs during summer, p/t work during school year, scholarships, grants, and many states have Lottery funded scholarships.
Well, the ADP report showed a big increase last month. Let's hope they were more skilled, well paying, not the peanuts. Good to see the jobs requiring STEM skills are returning. They suffered greatly the past five years.

Provided that they are offered to interview with the jobs. I mean look at the market right now, employers can cherry pick like it is nothing and ask for all of the purple squirrel requirements that they want. That and having the degree and at least two years of experience.
