One of my summer jobs in college (I did mostly Manpower jobs) was assembly work. Mind numbing. Incredibly mind-numbing. I was a de-burrer. Had to remove excess plastic from molded rear-view mirror backings for a GM contractor.

Someone up thread said they wouldn't want to be a pilot. What the heck is wrong with being a pilot?!?!?!
(Guess what I do for work.....)
A friend I had in high school is a pilot for American Airlines. He flies inter-city flights only, mostly the same route every day. He calls himself a "glorified bus driver" and is bored to death with his job. He can't wait to get seniority so he can do longer hauls on bigger planes.
