I'd rather shovel crap, clean porta potties, do autopsies, etc, just no dishwashing.

I washed dishes for 3 years as a 2nd job and nothing even comes close to that nightmare, when I worked in refineries and had to have a scuba tank and mask on my face because breathing the air would kill me, that was a pleasure compared to watching dishes, I was in a basket lifted by a crane 157ft in the air while the crane broke down in 25mph winds, so I was stuck 157ft up for 3.5 hours and the guy I was with in the basket was freaking out, not me though, cause I wasn't washing dishes....
I second this and throw in husband. I busted suds part-time back in high school in an Italian restaurant. Never again. As for husband..oh heck no.

You got that right, Alex.
I did social work for 25+ years and there are more poor souls struggling in lifelong poverty with NO HOPE, NO MEANS OUT.
Yes, there are liars, cheats, lazy ass people who suck the system for all it's worth, but believe it or not these are NOT the majority.
''There, but for the grace of God, go I.''

What people don't get is that in the right set of circumstances, they too could fall into this category of society with no way out.
Social service programs were meant to be a temporary ''help up'', not a lifestyle. Now there is very little help out there, so the hole widens.
Sorry for the off topic...

I couldn't be law enforcement. I don't like gang mentality and I wouldn't be able to give poor people tickets .

Any work that requires no imagination to do and is so routine that machine could do it.

You ever see Mike Rowe's tv show Dirty Jobs? Yeah, pretty much 99% of those and add hooker, drug dealer, and striper to the list of jobs I wouldn't do.

I'm the same way. Absolutely HATE dealing with customers, taking orders, cashiering, etc. I'm a 'give me something to do in the back and pay me decent' type.
