I suppose China and the US are the most common answers. It should be pointed out that China's local governments have been borrowing a lot over the last decade in order to make huge infrastructure improvements and that will have to be dealt with at some point.

Another point is that China has rather contentious relations with most of its immediate neighbors which can put a damper on things.

And while China is going through incredible growth, its GDP is still much smaller than the US's. This may or may not be exacerbated once incredibly cheap and plentiful labor is no longer available and/or the two major demographic issues looming ahead (a quickly aging population supported by relatively few younger people and a gender imbalance of several tens of millions for the current generation due to selective abortion) can put a pretty strong damper on all this growth.

Of course, the US also has an incredibly large body of people who are easily swayed to vote against their own interests and can possibly put idiotic demagogues in positions of great power, so maybe things are pretty bad for us here.

Therefore, acting on the assumption that a lot of people will vote for their own country...the country with the largest population wins. I guess that means nobody on this planet is competing with China for the honors (unless the voting is rigged ).

In my opinion, it would be America or China. Japan is a runner-up. What do you think?
America is not the best country IMO. Although it is going pretty strong economically, it still has a lot of racism and other social issues stemming from its racist violent past. Blacks and Indians are still probably looked down at as inferior in the US. The US, Brazil and South Africa are still probably ones of the most racist countries.

I will not go to Turkey or any Arab country either because I'm Jewish and most Arabs pretty much hate Jews. If I go there they will probably arrest me right away. Arabs are pretty intolerant when it comes to religious differences.

The best countries I can think of are probably Czech Republic, Finland, Scotland, Germany, Poland and maybe even Canada.
