Yup. Canadian spellings:

Centre
Theatre
Colour
Favour
Harbour
Dialogue
Catalogue
Judgement

All British in origin. Not French.

There is relatively little French influence in Canadian English outside of Quebec. With only a few exceptions (Ottawa, Moncton) and even there it is not a huge impact.

Is it possible there might be more French influence in British English?

What's special about the way judgement is spelled?

Could be.

But that's not why English Canadians chose these spellings.

French historically has had very low prestige in Canada. It's only been since the 70s approx that its image has started to improve and that it's seen as having at least some value and legitimacy.

Isn't it spelled judgment in the US? Or maybe it is the other way around. If so then it is a bad example.

French is jugement.

As far as I know, we spell it Judgement.

One worth mentioning is "grey/gray". Which one do Canadians generally use?

Z in Anglo Canada. But S in French and in the UK.

All the -izes in Canadian English are written with a Z (zed btw) except for analyse for some reason.

Here's a resource. Looks like Canadian uses a mixture of British and American. Looks also like many words can have the "other" spelling as an accepted alternative.

Canadian, British and American Spelling
