How do you get to and from work? (insurance, school)

These days, I take the bus. Between gas, insurance, registration and in CA, smog, I figured I could use that money for other things.

Train and bus, depending on which is most convenient at the time. The train station is further away but the journey is A LOT quicker than the bus - 9 minutes vs around 20 minutes. The car is a no-no for me - I am impatient and would probably end up getting out of my car and smashing other people's windows if I got stuck in a traffic jam.

Plus, our regional transport body is releasing new travel cards which save money, so it's a no-brainer for me.

Bike most usually. Bus during the toughest winter months (late December-early March).

15 minute commute by car

I walk from my bedroom exactly 25 steps into my office, it takes less than a minute unless I stop in the kitchen for coffee.
