Haha, my husband and I saw this car today - read the lettering!

(It says "General Lee" and there's a big Confederate flag on the trunk.)

Just to clarify - I took this photo BECAUSE it's so weird - not because this sort of thing is common around here! LOL

A wander round the New Forest near to me reveals this interesting artifact, marking the scene of one of this Country's great historical mysteries.

This is the Rufus Stone which is possibly the spot where King William II, William Rufus, eldest son of William The Conqueror, was shot and killed by an arrow during a hunt in the Royal hunting ground that was the New Forest over 900 years ago.

Was it an accident, or murder?

Rather than type (slowly), I'll post the Wiki link.

Here are my photos which I took on an overcast but dry morning yesterday;

My everyday life
Living in an inner suburb of Paris and working in Central Paris, I have a very urban life.
It wouldn't be the same if I was working in a suburban business park like my father.

This is not your romantic Paris but Paris as a big working city.

Morning rush hour in the metro
Note that before taking the metro, I have to take an even more packed bus ride.

Business districts of Central Paris (Avenue de l'Opera).
Because the office buildings look like residential buildings, many people tend to underestimate the huge number of office in Central Paris.

Rue Saint Anne where I often take my lunch (bento box).
There are long queues in front of the numerous Ramen fast food restaurants of the streets which are very popular among office workers.

Porte d’Orléans where I buy some groceries and I take my bus to my home.
