France is a police state ("french patriot act" has been passed, and police has extended powers anyway), and it won't stay diverse for long, since the whites are becoming a minority
Renunciation:
It may be possible in theory to become stateless but it's not possible in practice. The country you are in when you renounced would simply deport you as you would no longer have a passport with a visa in it and they can't issue you a new visa as there is nowhere to stick it(!)
In fact, the country in question would likely regard your renunciation as an attempt to illegally acquire permanent residence and take a very dim view of it.
What's the best country to live that fits this criterion?
Diverse society:
Diverse food scene:
No death penalty:
Prostitution is legal:
Non-police state:
Good standard of living:
Responsible government:
If you don't have a visa in any country, don't have any qualifications so you can apply for a visa, don't even bother. Moving to another country isn't like moving to another state, OP.
Maybe Nevada? Prostitution is legal, the only state in the US, though limited to licensed brothels in eight rural counties, I believe. Pretty sound fiscally (responsible government), I didn't notice undue police presence. However, Nevada has the death penalty.
STATES WITHOUT THE DEATH PENALTY (19) (YEAR ABOLISHED IN PARENTHESES)
Alaska (1957)
Connecticut** (2012)
Hawaii (1957)
Illinois (2011)
Iowa (1965)
Maine (1887)
Maryland (2013)
Massachusetts (1984) Michigan (1846)
Minnesota (1911)
Nebraska (2015)
New Jersey (2007)
New Mexico* (2009)
New York (2007)#
North Dakota (1973)
Rhode Island (1984)^
Vermont (1964)
West Virginia (1965)
Wisconsin (1853)
Dist. of Columbia (1981)
Otherwise, yes, probably Netherlands. But prostitution is also legal, but regulated, in Germany, Austria, Switzerland, Greece, Turkey, Hungary, and Latvia.
So, as usual, core Europe: Netherlands, Germany, Austria, Switzerland. But not sure how one would measure them on the "police state" score.

What connections, if any, do you have outside of the US? Do you have any siblings, parents, or grandparents with citizenship of another country? Do you have any university qualifications? Do you have enough money to set up a business in another country?
If you answered no to any of these questions, you will not be emigrating outside of the US any time soon, and thus, pointless to ask these type of questions.
I'm always baffled at the importance one gives to the absence of death penalty for the livability of a country. I mean, unless you plan murdering someone or becoming a drug trafficker, it shouldn't worry you...

I've lived in 7 different U.S. states and there's always been someone who's said something similar to what you've said about family, connections, blah blah blah... $$$ is the only factor when it comes to moving around, everything else is secondary.

I care about which policies and procedures my tax dollars support.
