Canada and New Zealand.

Don't know why the U.S. is being mentioned. On the whole, it's not the strongest example.

America is the most peaceful, because it has the fewest people out in public to create noise and disturbance. Americans stay in their homes, and when they go out they are in their cars. They spend more time in their workplace, and do their shopping at infrequent intervals. It is very peaceful and quiet outdoors.

Ha. El Paso is also the drunkest city in America. Maybe that's why there is low crime? People can't shoot straight there.

Canada, particularly Montreal got my curiosity in the past. It's cold, though.

Iceland does indeed come on top.Probably because it is in the middle of nowhere. The most peaceful place on earth really should be Antarctica.

I think Japan is definitely on the peaceful country list. However, you should be able to speak Japanese fluently. Are you gifted in learning foreign languages, OP?

Don't bother then, Asian languages are notoriously hard for Westerners.
