Which two wars are you referring to?? Slavery continued existing in Brazil until 1888,... while the U.S. Civil War ended in 1865.

while I dislike islamophobia... I really have a hard time digesting the fact so many muslims demand respect but they offer so little of it in return, especially to women, gay men, people who are not muslim etc.

Of course this is generalizing because many muslims are not intolerant of others, but its also true that a lot of them are!
