^I won't say it's a hidden gem tbh. Arashiyama is extremely famous.

But yeah it's gorgeous I really want to go there.

Spoleto is a medieval city dating to the Middle Ages, it's well known for its acqueduct (dating to Roman times) passing in the middle of the city, to its Romanesque Cathedral, for its Castle as well as for an extremely well kept and quite large historical center. Not only that but the city also holds a large theater and a bridge (Bloody Bridge) as well as several villas in the surroundings. The city's becoming well known to Italians due to one of the most watched TV series being set there

Spoleto, Umbria:

In the province of New Brunswick, you have the world's longest covered bridge, The Hartland Bridge.

I admit Arashiyama is famous among Taiwanese, just like Jiufen is among Japanese:

Jiufen, Taiwan:

But if you asked 100 people here, I guess only a few would know either Arashiyama or Jiufen

It's sometimes difficult to know what's famous in Canada is famous outside of Canada. I'm taking a risk here, assuming most don't know about The Bay of Fundy?? However it is a UNESCO site.
It's a 270 K long bay on the ocean between the provinces of New Brunswick and Nova Scotia. It has the highest tides in the world.
To give you an example of how incredible this is, each day 160 billions tonnes of seawater flows in and out of the bay during one tide cycle. MORE THAN THE COMBINED FLOW OF THE ENTIRE PLANETS FRESHWATER RIVERS!

This photo is of course, just a small part of it.

I have never heard about the Bay of Fundy nor Arajiyama and Jiufeng (it's one of the striking places i have seen on this thread). Keep posting these pics because the places you post about are getting more and more attractive

Chioggia is a city in the Lagoon of Venice, 30 minutes of ferry to the South of the City Center. It's often referred to as a small Venice, much like its Northern neighbour, it has a traditional historical center which is almost unique for its canals, a mainland and a beach (Sottomarina). It's a lovely place for a tourist to use a base to visit the surrounding areas and especially Venice itself as it's quite a bit cheaper and well connected to the city.

Chioggia, Veneto
