If you had to live in either Mexico City or New York City, which would you choose and why?

New York City, for sure.
I have nothing against Mexico City, but it's a city very similar to mine, with all its good points but also with all its troubles. It's like to trade six of one for half a dozen of the other. NYC, on the other hand... is NYC. With the exception of London and Paris and, maybe, Hong Kong, it's too hard to compare any other city in the world with it.

Good grief. New York City by a landslide, and I'm not all that much of a fan of NYC.

Isn't Mexico City a relatively safe and developed city? Also cost of living is a loss lower!!! Don't forget the street food!

Definitely New York. I’d love to visit Mexico City one day, but if I had to choose between these two it would be the Big Apple.

Depends on my income... if I had a higher income, Mexico City since my money would go further.

I'm sure Mexico City is nice to visit, but NYC all the way

That said, if you are talking about retirement then Mexico City should win easily for much more affordable prices

Give me Mexico City's climate though.
