Endlessly fascinating topic. That is everything I think about recently.
I believe the average is actually a bit low when poorer countries are in bottom mix of 198 Independent Sovereign Republics total.
(Imagine some countries close to or at zero resembling Pakistan, Bangladesh, DR Congo, Myranmar)
(Right type of poverty rich in soul Georgia, Indonesia, Vietnam three to five)
Ignoring real impoverished zones, exact number goes up. Even if not quite affluent yet.
(Romania, Thailand, China, Malaysia 5 to 9)
Especially geographically advantageous regions not far from lots of other ones.
(Poland, Hungary, Czech Republic 10 To 11 Of Them)
Encompassing top rank wealthy countries, entire lives are bright for these average, finally.
(Germany, Belgium, UK, Australia, Sweden 11 to 14 Countries)
(Austria, UAE, Singapore, Netherlands 15 to 19!)
This changed compared to before years of 2010, 2000, 1990's, or 1970's.
I bet absolute average final count around 7 countries.
I'v been to 2 countries (USA and Canada) and I think the national average is the same, 2. Maybe a little higher, but most people I know have only been to one or two countries in their life, other than a few people.

Most may just been to somewhere nearby as most people in our world can't afford inter regional travel.
Most people in in our world are poorer than the average American or Japanese.
For example, most people in Southeast Asia can't afford travelling to Japan or South Korea. Most people in South America can't afford travelling to Puerto Rico.
