I was born and raised in NYC and now live in it's suburbs. I have also spent more time in Hong Kong than any other city during my 20 years of traveling to Asia and NY is far superior. HK has some newer magnificent buildings but overall there is nothing more thrilling for me then seeing the Manhattan skyline be it from the air or on the ground. Also HK's tall buildings are spread out whereas in Manhattan they run from Wall St. to all the way uptown.

How is that possible when Hong Kong has 3x as many tall buildings?
Hong Kong also has a lot more plain jane apartment and condo projects.
