Consider the fish a household pet
You have nothing to do but keep him wet
his bearing is good, his manners neat
his face is clean, his breath is sweet
he does not bark, he does not sing
he does not bite, scratch or sting
he does not shed feathers, fur or hair
all over the sofa carpet or chairs
you never find him underfoot
you put him someplace, and he stays put
If you are away a day or two
you do not have to worry, fret or stew
he ask but little here below
just food to eat, and room to grow
if eighter of these are long denied
when you look for him, he has quietly died.
