"Squinch"

Please excuse my bad English; I'm American.

Children seldom misquote you. In fact, they usually repeat word for word what you shouldn't have said.

Southpark had an episode where Mr Mackey had apparently read an entry in a thesaurus under the word shenanigans. He called them: skylarkings and tomfooleries.

The wonderful word "cavalcade" has fallen into disuse. It was quite a common expression in the 1950s, lying on the conservative side of "extravaganza" in its scope. Useful for C-D's POC Forum users, as in "Your reply to my post was a cavalcade of ad-hominems."
