Hawaiian Triggerfish - Pretty fish, nasty teeth, and they can decimate a nice saltwater tank in no time.

Default Gobsmacked

Berenice~We miss you! I love what you bring to the table. It's especially fun to learn of the sayings from another country, many of which I've never heard of before, including some very funny sayings.

One of them being gobsmacked. I had never heard it before,. . . until recently. A woman on the news said, when she was a teen in London('66?), she got Paul McCartney's address from another fan, a magazine or something, and she and a girlfriend went to his house. He answered the door and chatted with them for a while. Then Paul gave them the addresses of John, George, and Ringo. She visited and chatted with every one of the Beatles, and she had the pictures to prove it. When describing this to the reporter she said, "I was gobsmacked!" Love it!

Lucky lady!

Interesting Berenice . . . I've recently learned I'm descended from John Sutton III (1339-c.1370).

What's the name of the forum if I may axe... I mean ask?
