Farthing. Forgot about that word and it popped into my head the other night at work and wouldn't go away as I thought "I dont' give a single farthing..." (maybe that isn't a good thing? ) Nevertheless I love that word.

A farthing is an old British coin of very little value. It was 1/4 of a penny! So, when someone said they "couldn't give a farthing" about this or that, they meant that they couldn't care less.
