my nonno (grandfather) had this quote in a picture frame in his home...for the longest time i wondered what it meant.
"Quando squaglia la neve, si vedano i strunzi."...one day, when i was older (late teens), he told me the meaning...
"When the snow melts, you can see the chicken ****"
he told me to make of it what i wanted...so i did.
i relate it to meeting someone new...and you meet this person, and they seem fantastically cool, everything they tell you is awesome! then as you get to know them more deeply, you find out that what they've been telling you was simply lies and fronts...that's when the snow melts.
