Glad you think so.

(When finding someone in agreement, not sarcasm.)

Discovered a cool word recently!! YAY VOCABULARY EXPANSION!!

"FOSSICKING"

I found it in a fantasy novel by Juliet Marillier. The context was along the lines of "beetles fossicking in the loam" so I took it to mean scuttling or burrowing.

Then I looked it up online, seems that it was originally an Australian term for people who browse about sites where mining for precious metals or gems has taken place, hoping to find something of value to take home, and specifically not to sell...so like tourists would probably do this. The activity is "fossicking." Then at some point I guess it expanded to generally mean "rummaging."

I LOVE THIS WORD!

^Good one!

I have a (bad) habit of instantly assigning my personal definitions to unknown words (before I learn the real one).

i.e., Fossicking = elderly people having 'relations'.

and

Fecundity = smelling really bad (well, babies often.. um.. do.)

"I burn the candle at both ends, and it gives a lovely light."

That's the late Christopher Hitchens.

I miss him already. He's sorely needed now than ever before. The world has so few good polemicists as it is.

Personally I like the phrase "Haven't the foggiest."
