I know. It's not profound or anything but it says it all. It was right at the end of a fairly good book, The Unlikely Pilgrimage of Harold Fry. He reunited with his wife and it was just like old times and the world seemed to stand still for them as they walked by the sea.

It's like how the river is always the same and yet it is different. (I must like that theme lol).

I live the mantra at work in how I view my associates. Once properly trained, I trust them to complete a task, but at the same time, a good manager should always take steps to verify the quality of their associate's work.
