While I have occasionally seen alternate spellings for Timbuktu, I have never seen the name of that city split into three words.
Where did you find that...unorthodox...spelling for Timbuktu?

When I was about 6 years old, my mother gave me a Golden Book that was titled (IIRC), From Kalamazoo to Timbuktu And All The Way Back. Even in that children's book of the early 1950s, the name of that city was one word, so I am a bit mystified as to where you might have seen it broken down into 3 words.
