I saw lapis on your list, Tantalust! I just couldn't help stealing it! Thing is, I actually lean more to modern styles. I love Craftsmen homes, though, for the Japanese influence, the craft and simplicity. Here are some examples of Japanese joinery that are amazing, with amazing names for their (nailless!) joints:

Kintaro Yazawa's Original Joint Workouble Twisted Dovetail, Double Dovetail, Nejiri Arigata

The Hawk's Nail Joint, the Paper-Thickness Joint, the Transcendence Technique, the Twisted Ivory...
