Well doggies!

Oil was found in Jed's Ozark swamp land. Granny spoke of being from Tennessee. References were made to many SW Missouri towns. Early in the series references were made to Eureka Springs in NW Arkansas. It's the Ozarks, but they never really pinpointed the state.

My opinions may have changed, but not the fact that I'm right.

The person who has no opinion will seldom be wrong

Wise men talk because they have something to say; fools, because they have to say something.

And Amaranth-a cosmopolitan herb

Cherubim and Celestial

I like stream-of-consciousness and run-on sentences, as long as I get it.

Gotta love this one...It was a dark, and stormy night.

"It was a dark and stormy night; the rain fell in torrents, except at occasional intervals, when it was checked by a violent gust of wind which swept up the streets (for it is in London that our scene lies), rattling along the housetops, and fiercely agitating the scanty flame of the lamps that struggled against the darkness."-Baron Lytton, beginning line of the 1830 Victorian novel, Paul Clifford.
