"Delight the senses"

I also love the word "clairvoyant."

Oh, and "Transylvania."

And "aerodynamic."

And "pugilist."

And "portent." It just sounds, well, important.

And finally (for now anyway) "dilettante."

Ill-gotten booty (or, to quote Hawkeye Pierce, "ill-booten gotty").

Such is life. I love it. And now, thanks to CD, I know how to spell it. The French classes were filled, so I took German in high school, because my best friend was in that class. I wish I had taken Spanish.

I like the word "kartoffelkopf." Herr Kartoffelkopf=Mister Potatohead.
Chuck Berry wrote a song called "C'est La Vie - You Never Can Tell" that was made famous in the mid 1970's by Emmylou Harris. It has some pretty cool lyrics. I particular like the line that goes

"They furnished off an apartment
With a 2 room Roebuck sale.
The coolerator was crammed
With tv dinners and ginger ale".

Chuck Berry was pretty clever with inventing new words, like coolerator. He also made the word "motorvating" famous, in his song "Maybeline". A word that means the act of driving a car.

Love both those songs (and words).
