Reading this more often on various forums and such: the use of wonder instead of wander.
"I was wondering around the area looking for..." "What if the bear wondered into my house?". What's up with that?

Pet peeve: When somebody says, "I could care less!" they really mean to say, "Couldn't care less".
Watching a Drama TV show yesterday and heard an actor say it wrong. I assume it was written that way in the script.
Ric <--- waaaaaaaay too much time on his hands today.
Thanks to all of you here, I now am keenly aware of how I speak. I never said "I could care less", but if I get lazy or hurried, I do slip up now and then in other ways.
Any time someone gets on me about saying "I could care less" I roll my eyes and walk away because I really could care less about whether it pisses them off or not. I've been saying "I could care less" all my life and if someone want to throw a fit about it, well, that's their problem and it's no skin off my nose. I have bigger things in life to worry about. People say it both ways, they always will, and all the jumping up and down and screaming, "You're saying it WRONG!" isn't going to change that.

Only pre-Madonnas worry about things like language.
