Walla? As in viola? Or has Walla Walla been shortened since I was last there?

Have you noticed that when Jimmy reads the words that the baby makes on his food tray with his Cheerios that he Kocks his head to read as if he has to look at it upside down, then the camera pulls away and it is not upside down to Jimmy, but rather to the baby. So he hadn't have to Kock his head to read it. Stupid censors.

Viola! As in adding the finishing touch to a special dessert and then, "Viola!"

ROFL

VOILA!

Viola is a musical instrument.

I have seen "Walla", though, too. So sad.

Funny thing is that I play a viola and I took French in high school. So I used to ask people if they knew what "voila!" meant when they said it.

Most Americans should probably stop trying to speak and spell French words. Bookay or bokay for bouquet, bookoo or boocoo (for beaucoup) etc. are so common it just makes you want to bang la tete against a wall.

Something I saw earlier today on another thread: Se la ve.

Could that possibly mean "C'est la vie"?

Quel dommage ...
