Here's someone who needs a dictionary to learn the proper usage of carrot, caret, and carat:

Well, I just needed to have a look at my dictionary. Until reading your post, I had thought that the words for the proofreader's mark and the unit of weight were both spelled "carat".

And let's not forget the unit of gold alloy proportion - karat.
