The suspect was hit six times by the police gun fire. Cause of death to be determined by the coroner.

"Things you hate that others' love ..."

I paraphrased to protect the poster. I see this kind of mistake pretty frequently. It's just a plural form, people!!

"I don't understand the difference between, this, and, this."

Paraphrasing again. Why all the commas?

Gives time to pause and think?

At the hardware store yesterday, at one end of a row of little drawers full of screws, nuts, bolts, etc., one set of drawers with handmade signs:

"MASONARY ANCORS"

Now I know where to get one if I ever need one.

A handmade misspelled sign is bad enough, but how about when a, "professional", sign-maker makes the same mistake?
A few months ago, a neighbor of mine was having masonry work done on his house, and I thought that I might want to jot down the name & phone number of the mason, for future reference.

The professional-looking sign on the side of the truck informed the public that this workman specializes in, "Masonary".

I opted to not make a note of his contact information.

Title of a thread in C-D.

"Has anyone else been ubber surprised by their dna results?..."

Not at all. I've been much more surprised by the use of misspelled prefixes as full-blown words

Reminds me of Justin Wilson's "the bullet is in her yet"
