I saw some earlier posts in this thread. I'm not going to quote all of the screwups, because I can't. My math only goes up to college calculus and that's not enough to comprehend the extent of what bad grammar is accepted and the extent of the problem.

I think that some college recruiting staff are trying to attract potential students regardless of scholastic ability.
(Or is that "irregardless"?)
The college gets money, the students get an education that's less than helpful, and everybody wins. Right?

"I know, right?".

The bolded above would be an interesting question for the education forum - I think you have a valid point there, although it's off-topic for this thread.

It is indeed distressing that people representing educational institutions are often grammatically-challenged.

"They targeted JFK's assignation."

The subject included Oswald, so I don't think those two had a meeting planned.

CD Thread Reply:

Wow, I think Ellen humor is over yall head. The joke was not attempt to smear Liza nor did she say anything about crossdressers or transgenders.
It was to poke fun about 1 in 10 drag queens has done a Liza impersonation. She is an icon in drag world next to Cher and Madonna.

It a compliment and not an insult for a drag queen to pay ode to one of the most iconic divas who is the daughter of the other gay iconic diva Judy Garland.

hahahahaha, I know exactly what post you're referring to....

In other news:

"Dear Ma'am:

I noticed that x did not appear in my system notes after I completed it. Does it take a day or two to show, or is it supposed to show up immediately?

Regards,

TWIS"

Response:

"Yes"

I'm not making that up.
