Recently, I heard yet another newscaster refer to Edinburgh, Scotland as Edin-BERG.
Really?
You have never heard it pronounced (correctly) as Edin-BOROUGH?
Just as I cringed when newscasters talked about The US invading "Granada" during the Reagan Administration (Really? We invaded a city in Spain?), I have to wonder about the worldliness and the geographical knowledge of newscasters who don't know how to pronounce "Edinburgh" properly.
As the manager i was literally forced at the potential cost of my job to higher the prettiest/hottest employees i could find that would work for minimum wage...
Also from the NJ Forum:
...if the company actually cared about who they hired you would of had a better experience...you could of just walked up to someone and asked them for something...if thats the case you would of been shopping in a different store.
