9. (Trick Question) How many "official" letters are there in the English alphabet?

I'll take a stab at just one of these.

#5 On the top row: typewriter

I have no idea if it's the longest one there is, but it's the longest one that immediately came to mind for me.

One more little item from the trivia department: inkwell is the only word in the English language with the consecutive letter combination "nkw."
