yes this storm dump some snow, but remember , 2 years ago today was the day after bomb cyclone.

Cheyenne got 30" and over in the Medicine Bow west of Centennial got 50"

Pretty much. We went through that area and back 1-2 weeks ago.... happy to have missed this. No need to fight weather towing a trailer 2000 miles out and back! Did that 3 years ago....



There is a small book out there about the blizzard's of the 48-49 winter, titled "Blizzard 1949'. THAT was big-time weather! Houses and barns and trains buried.... livestock buried all over.

I've seen some photos of that storm. Such an insane amount of snow coverage!

friend had a video up yesterday of Grand Island Neb a 150 miles east of Cheyenne and hundreds of Semis parked and waiting .

We got about a foot in Douglas.

Roads are pretty ear today in town, but a bit icy still.
