Is there a local newspaper I can find rental homes? I am relocating end of Sept to work in Charlotte. I like areas of NC but also really like what I hear about Fort Mills and Rock Hill SC. Can anyone direct me on where to look for rental homes and what areas to avoid or to look into to raise a family.

Why not try The Herald (The Herald - Life. Captured Every Day. - Serving York, Chester, and Lancaster Counties.)? You should be able to find something there.

I would stay up in the area closer to I-77. There are new developments, etc., going up there, and it is closer to Fort Mill and Charlotte.

Check out River Hills...best kept secret in the Southeast.
Lots of realtors in Lake Wylie area, try Anne Fletcher with First Properties of the Carolinas. I've bought through her before.
