Hey Mike...What did you think of Shelley Woods ?? My husband and I looked there in August & liked it alot. The model homes were quite impressive. Lots of luck in your search..we came home exhausted and a little overwhelmed but happy because we liked the area a whole lot!
Arrived this morning - visited some apartment complexes, and went to check out Shelley Woods, got the whole breakdown on Indian Land vs. Fort Mill.
Got lost going from the mall of the carolinas off 485 but somehow ended up in fort mill, guess it was backroads - wish i wrote it down, lol.
There are a couple ways to get from Carolina Place Mall to Ft Mill depending on what part of Fort Mill you need to go to. You need to go down HWY 51 if you are going to go to the western side of the area. If you are going to easten Fort Mill as I do VERY often, you go south down the road parallel to the mall. It changes from South Blvd to Polk St a the Charlotte Pineville border and then to lancaster hwy. Take Providence Rd West (changes to Barberville rd in SC) until it ends at HWY 160. Turn right, go over the county line and voila you are in Ft Mill. This is pretty close to mi casa.
We liked the Lily Loft model alot & also liked the Tyler but they didn't have one built to look at. The layout of the streets was nice too with cul de sacs and only one way in/out which eliminates any "through" traffic. Are there any homes in progress? We we hoping to see one or two in various building stages to check out the materials used. We are in NJ & are planning a trip in early spring to look again & make some decisions.
We went into a few models. They have two models, then another two homes that are ready and available.
We like the Delaware model.
