Another vote for Waterstone. Nice pool, and the HOA isn't over bearing. There are many homes in that range, but they sell so fast you may have to overbid.
The neighborhood is full of kids too, and has many cul-de-sacs so your kids can play in the street.

Well, we did a mini scout this weekend and fell in love with Tega Cay.
Any advice there? (Yes, our budget will be increased )

A few questions...
The paths along TC drive- are you allowed to bike on them? We only saw walkers and joggers.

Parks - I know they're there and we saw Windjammer but none of the others. Where are they located and what are they like?

We are still planning our longer trip next month, this one was really just to narrow down the several areas we were interested so we didn't get to see nearly as much as we'd like this time.

Thanks again!

I've never SEEN cyclists on the paths in TC, but that doesn't mean they aren't allowed. But I'd check with Tega Cay Parks Dept if you don't get an answer here about it.

The two big parks in York County are Anne Springs Recreation Complex, which is in Fort Mill - it's huge. The Anne Springs Greenway in general has tons of trails, horseback riding and kayaking on the lake.

Anne Springs Close Greenway

To find all the parks in Tega Cay, you can use this site:

Yes, you can ride bikes on the path, golf carts too.

Other than Windjammer, there's a park behind the firehouse where the summer concerts are held, there's a park near the water tower, one at the beach club, where the pool is located and another on TC drive called Turner Field. (soccer/baseball fields).

Thank you for all the information - very helpful!
I'm almost positive that at some point in my online research I found a neighborhood that connected via bike/walking trail to Anne Springs - does anyone know what that development(s) is/are? Now that I'm looking for it specifically I can't seem to find it!

Tega Cay is not near Anne Springs, just so you know. It would be a 10-15 minute drive, at least, to get there from Tega Cay.

Thanks for the link and info Girl. I know it is a bit of a hike, we just want to feel out neighborhood options when we go for our longer trip! I loved Tega Cay but can't say it's the end all until we spend more time next month.
