It’s an excellent park on Tucson’s Eastside, close to major services and attractions. More than 500 RV spaces are situated amid beautiful desert landscaping, paved streets, and views of the Rincon and Catalina Mountains. Activities include arts and crafts, hiking, miniature golf, exercise classes, billiards, Ping-Pong, and shuffleboard. For water fun, there’s a pool and Jacuzzi. And if you need a break from the fun, you can always do the laundry.There are daily, weekly, monthly, and annual spaces available at varying rates.

Description: Located on Tucson’s southeast side near the eastern end of Davis-Monthan Air Force Base, this is the smaller of the 2 Rincon Country resorts. Activities and amenities, including bingo, billiards, shuffleboard, and horseshoes, rival its sister resort on the west side. Here you will find 460 spaces that rent for weekly, monthly, and annual rates. Spaces are usually unavailable in the high season without reservations years in advance. Amenities include a pool, spa, basic cable TV, a library, and 3 laundry rooms. This resort also rents and sells park-model RVs. Don’t be frightened off by the proximity to the base—the airstrips are miles away on the base’s west end. But you probably will have a view of the aircraft graveyard on Davis-Monthan’s eastern end.

Description: At first glance you may be put off by the neighborhood surrounding this mobile home community—it’s older and definitely not upscale. But if you look closer, you’ll see a lovely and well-maintained community with a beautiful lake in its center, complete with ducks and fish and maybe even a swan. And residents can fish in it, too. There are 279 spaces, but not many are available. Swan Lakes sells mobile homes but doesn’t rent them and leases sites monthly for a single-wide. Utilities are extra. The community is fenced in, and a nightly security guard controls access through the entrance gate. For fun and recreation there’s an extensive social and activities calendar plus 2 heated pools and a Jacuzzi.
