The city channel has all types of programs on local issues, such as the environment, seniors, arts, city council meetings, Boulder Valley School Board meetings, sports, and leisure, and information programs on science, travel, and much more.Channel 54 is Community Access TV of Boulder, with talk shows, performance, community interest, and even local cooking programs. CATV offers inexpensive classes to train citizens to produce and edit their own videotapes for presentation on Channel 54. It also provides the audio for Radio Reading Services of the Rockies, which broadcasts audio versions of the Daily Camera, Denver Rocky Mountain News, Denver Post, and Colorado Daily newspapers, plus BBC News and local weather.
