Description: Laudisio’s, one of Boulder’s landmark eateries, moved from its former home of 20 years to the brand-new 29th Street Shopping Center in the fall of 2006. With the move, came a change in name—the old Laudisio is now “L.” L is a large, airy space with an outdoor area enclosed by grape-leaf metalwork, leading to a brick, tile, and wood interior that showcases a 4,000-bottle wine cellar, wood oven, and rotisserie. The restaurant’s rotisserie will allow the chefs to design specials around local products such as Colorado leg of lamb, organic chicken, and Coleman beef. L makes its bread, egg pastas, sauces, and soups daily. Entrees are made to order specifically to your tastes. The dinner menu includes such spectacular dishes as wild mushroom pate, chicken milanase, braised calamari, and veal rustico. L meets the needs of all diners. Visit the cafe for a cappuccino and panini for lunch, have an intimate dinner in the evening, or enjoy a glass of wine after the movies. L is open daily for lunch and dinner.
