Description: The co-op has 45 members and shows the work of more than 200 artists, including nationally known artists and participating members and consignees from Colorado and surrounding mountain states. Nowhere else in the area will you find such a concentrated collection of top-quality pottery, puppets, jewelry, photographs, fiber art, stained glass, woodwork, and other items. The co-op has an extensive and spectacular selection of jewelry made from precious metals, as well as contemporary fashion jewelry. There are handcrafted clothes that are works of art on hangers, and whimsical painted wooden furniture, too. Opened in 1971, the member-directed co-op celebrated its 35th year in 2006. A Visiting Artist Series brings the work of outside talent to exhibit in the gallery from late May through early November. There is also a series of shows that benefit local nonprofit organizations. The co-op is open daily 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. during the summer.
