Description: The Lafayette Recreation Department, winner of the National Medal Award, serves our community by offering a wide variety of fitness and recreational opportunities. Classes and activities are affordably priced and open for public enjoyment. The Recreation Center is housed on 20 acres of parkland. This multi-use area features a 4-field youth sports complex, an inline hockey rink and the city’s outdoor classroom. These amenities provide the community with a wonderful focal point for great family recreation. Fees are: Children ages 2–5 pay $2.50, ages 6–17 pay $3, ages 18–54 pay $4.50, and those over 55 pay $2.75.
