Description: The Jacksonville Transportation Authority operates the city’s bus system, inter-county shuttle, trolley, and the Skyway Express monorail. The bus system serves all Duval County, from the Beaches west to Orange Park, and connects with the Skyway Express and the Downtown/Riverside trolley. Most buses also provide front-loading bike racks so that riders can transport their bikes around the city. To find bus stops, look for the tall green signs with the red and yellow JTA logo and an easy-to-read listing of route information. Beaches and Riverside Trolley stops are indicated with a colorful graphic of a trolley car. Route maps for all of the JTA transportation options are available online at www.jtaonthemove.com, or by calling (904) 630-3100. JTA also offers free Park-n-Ride lots around Jacksonville.
