But the one thing it’s famous for is its signature dessert—oatmeal pie. People come from all over North County to try the oatmeal pie. Afterwards, they keep coming back for more. But it’s not just oatmeal pie. It’s oatmeal pie with the perfect complementary taste—cinnamon ice cream. If you’re eating dinner here, your server will probably recommend it. And, as far as recommendations go, the dining critic from the Palm Beach Post said it all. He said that this dessert “tastes as though it could come out of a mid-century Midwestern kitchen.” And, he added, “the sweet simplicity of the dish belies its true greatness.”
