Description: The mannequin greeting you at the door tells you this isn’t Kansas, Toto. The menu reinforces the feeling with items like the Seafood Omelet, which sounds harmless enough until you see it consists of shrimp, scallops, vegetables, provolone cheese, and a “Hellfire and Damnation” sauce. Tamer dishes include a fabulous Fruit & Nut French Toast, smoked salmon and bagel, and lots of the usuals. Lunch oddities include a Grilled Brie Sandwich and a Monte Cristo. Dinners are mostly steak and seafood, but kicked up a notch or two with offerings like the Wasabi Grilled Rib Eye Steak. Kelly’s has been a fixture in downtown Dunedin for 20 years, dishing up breakfast, lunch, and dinner from 8 a.m. until 9:30 p.m. on weekdays and 10:30 p.m. on Friday and Saturday. It’s not big, but there’s a spacious patio area out back. Next door is the Chic-a-Boom-Room Martini Bar and Lounge and next to that is the Blur Nightclub and Show Bar—all under the same ownership.
