Description: Alfano’s isn’t big and it isn’t loud. It isn’t on the beach or on a major highway. But look at the newspaper clippings and photos in the hallway, and you’ll see an international who’s who of famous people who have eaten Alfano’s classic Italian cuisine. From the extra light and tender Calamari Friti to the prepared-at-your-table Caesar Salad to the Smoked Chicken Ravioli Carbonera, the food is elegant without being pretentious. There’s a full bar, an extensive dessert menu, and background live piano music. Alfano’s serves lunch Monday through Friday from 11:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. and serves dinner from 5 to 9 p.m. Monday and Tuesday and 5 to 10 p.m. Wednesday through Saturday. They are closed Sunday. Alfano’s offers a prix fixe menu from 5 to 6 p.m.
