Description: Together, the two hotels—as the French Lick Resort—offer 45 holes of unparalleled golfing experience. Originally constructed in 1917 by world-renowned architect Donald Ross, the Donald Ross Course has been completely restored after a $4.7-million project. Formerly known as the Valley Links, the Tom Bendelow Course at French Lick was completely renovated and named to honor its architect. Bendelow laid out the Valley Links in 1907 as an 18-hole course, 9 holes of which are found in the current layout that has mostly wide-open, flat terrain with small greens. Carved into the rolling bluffs near West Baden Springs Hotel, the new Pete Dye Course was designed to be a walkable course but players still feel Dye’s signature sting as they tee off from vista to vista on this 18-hole masterpiece. The course was the site of the 2010 PGA Professionals National Championship.Contact the Orange County Convention & Visitors Bureau at (866) 960-7792 or www.visitfrenchlickwestbaden.com.
