Description: The Glockenspiel’s location, a Czech and Slovak fraternal hall, is one of the restaurant’s greatest assets. On entering the restaurant, you see a huge bar stocked with German beers. The dining area is a classy continuation of the bar and is decked out in plenty of blue against a large mural in the long, narrow, spacious dining area.German specialties fill the large menu, including schweinhaxe (pork hocks), Eisbach pfeffersteak (a German version of sirloin steak), and schweinrippchen (pork spare ribs). And for those with a smaller appetite, there are kleine speise (lighter fare) such as bratwurst, weisswurst, käsespätzle (German dumplings with cheese), and leberkäse (German pork loaf). Stop in for the Friday Night Fish Fry, an all-you-can-eat affair available for lunch or dinner. Finally, for dessert the restaurant features tortes, cakes, and other German delights. Glockenspiel is open for lunch and dinner daily.
